We believe the voices of the next generation need the right tools to guide us into a brighter future. That's why we launched our annual Be Heard course in 2015. It’s a free, 5-day immersive helping young creatives (ages 17 - 21) cultivate the public speaking, interpersonal communication, digital advocacy, and personal brand development skills they’ll need to thrive and make an impact in the world.
Through company tours, curated workshops, personal narrative projects, guest instructors and speakers, students apply what they learn to develop multimedia communication projects that give voice to their beliefs.
During the summer of 2017, we worked in partnership with The Mix at the San Francisco Public Library to host the course. Each participant completed the course with professional portfolio headshots by Paige Ricks and 60-second personal narrative videos produced by Made in Color.
